How Can We Help?
-
Strengthening Programs to Improve Outcomes
We can assist you in identifying and implementing program improvement strategies at intake, investigation, assessment, case disposition and case planning. We can assist with designing safety intervention systems and strategies, intake and screening protocols, initial and family assessments, CPS policy, differential response approaches and family reunification guidelines for improved decision-making and outcome achievement.
-
CAPTA Requirements
NRCCPS is equipped to help States address the eligibility requirements for the CAPTA State grant, including the recent requirements resulting from the 2006 reauthorization.
-
SLO Support & Communication
The NRCCPS provides support to the Children’s Bureau’s State Liaison Officers (SLOs) through needs assessments, teleconferences, training and publishing a SLO Newsletter. We are also a resource for information on CAPTA, ASFA and ICWA implementation, challenges and issues.
-
Collaboration & Coordination
As part of the Children’s Bureau Training and Technical Assistance Network, we team with our network partners in providing on-site training and technical assistance to States, Tribes and public child welfare agencies in the preparation and implementation of the Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) process.
